What is on your Thanksgiving menu?

Have you started planning your Thanksgiving meal?   I will admit, Thanksgiving dinner at my house is very traditional and we typically have the same dishes each year.  However, after adding almost 20 new recipes to our blog, I may have to try a few new ones.  If you need some ideas for your meal or you are just looking to try something new, check out these recipes

A large Thanksgiving meal can be expensive, so here are a few tips to consider:

1.  Start shopping the sales and using your coupons.
2.  Many stores will be offering great prices on turkey's when you purchase other items.  Plan your shopping trip accordingly so you can get the best price for your bird.
3.  Confirm with your guests how many will be coming.  You will avoid purchasing too much food.
3.  Ask your guests to bring part of the meal.  You will save money and have a variety of dishes on your table for everyone to try.  Maybe you will find a new recipe!
4.  Making desserts and rolls from scratch may be cheaper.
5.  Look for recipes that have simple and inexpensive ingredients.  If a recipe calls for something you don't normally buy or won't use, search for a substitute ingredient, eliminate the ingredient altogether or find a new recipe.
