Great Memories & A Bright Future

What an amazing event! It was an evening filled with opportunities to remember the past year and also learn how the Savvy Simple Savers can continue to support our community.

I enjoyed sharing the many ways our group has helped families in our community, including our amazing total of 477 items donated to Yelm Community Services.

I was honored to be invited to Yelm Community Services for our event.  Executive Director, Cindy Marchand-Cecil, provided a wealth of information about the history and current programs at Yelm Community Services.

A tour of the facility truly gave us a first hand look at the wonderful opportunities for families in our community.

 

It wouldn't be a special event without cake!

 

The Savvy Simple Savers first year was successful. Now it is time to think about making the next year even better.
Creating a partnership with Yelm Community Services will allow us to offer our time and knowledge to help them support families. I am very excited to begin this journey and will provide more details as we organize future meetings. 

477 items donated over the last year is great, but I think we can double our efforts and reach a total of 1,000 items! We will have our first opportunity to donate items toward this goal at our next meeting (date & time coming soon).
